About Highline

Highline Power is building an AI-native category leader across power services.

Power infrastructure is entering a period of unprecedented investment driven by rising electricity demand, grid modernization and the infrastructure required to support AI. Yet many power-services businesses remain constrained by scarce skilled labor, fragmented systems and highly manual workflows. Highline is building AI-native operating systems to expand capacity, improve customer outcomes and help transform how the power-services industry operates.

We acquire strong services businesses and build AI-native operating systems that expand team capacity, improve customer outcomes and create new avenues for growth. Our engineers work directly alongside operators and frontline teams to build technology around the workflows, data and expert judgment that differentiate these businesses.

We are backed by committed institutional capital and are closing our first platform acquisitions now.

The role

You will be one of the first hires at Highline Power, reporting to our Co-Founder and Head of Operations and working closely with our founding team, engineers and portfolio-company management teams.

This is a hands-on, zero-to-one role with meaningful ownership from day one. You will help build our commercial engine, launch and execute new growth initiatives, support AI-enabled transformation and establish the data and operating routines we use to run our first platform.

You will own defined workstreams from analysis through execution, spending real time inside the businesses and seeing whether the initiatives you help build actually work. As Highline scales, the role can expand quickly in scope and responsibility across growth and business operations.

What you'll do

  • Help build the commercial growth engine: Develop the analyses, processes and tools that strengthen prospect targeting, pipeline management, conversion, renewals and account expansion
  • Launch and test new growth initiatives: Support initiatives across customer acquisition, cross-sell, new services, pricing and supplier strategy, from analysis and business case development through pilot execution and measurement
  • Support AI-enabled transformation: Partner with frontline teams and engineers to identify high-value opportunities, support rollout and adoption and measure the resulting business impact
  • Help establish how we measure and run the business: Build and maintain the fact base, KPIs and analyses that support business reviews, identify performance gaps and turn insights into action
  • Support acquired-business integration: Own key integration workstreams, track progress and dependencies and help codify what works into a repeatable playbook
  • Help scale Highline: Support diligence on future acquisitions and take on high-priority analytical and cross-functional projects as the company expands across power services

What success looks like in the first 12 months

  • High-quality analysis and execution supporting measurable improvements in customer acquisition, conversion, renewals and organic growth
  • New growth initiatives launched and tested, with clear measurement of what is working and what should scale
  • AI-enabled initiatives supported through rollout and adoption, with business impact tracked consistently
  • A trusted operating fact base and repeatable analyses and playbooks that can be used across future acquisitions

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years of experience in a highly analytical role, including management consulting, investment banking, private equity, business operations, strategy and operations, high-growth technology or a similar setting
  • Experience taking an analysis or project from problem definition through execution, with a desire to take on progressively broader ownership
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort moving from raw data to insight, recommendation and action
  • Strong commercial instincts and familiarity with metrics such as pipeline conversion, retention, productivity and unit economics
  • Comfort moving between analysis and execution, with a strong bias for action
  • Executive presence and the ability to build trust across a range of stakeholders
  • High ownership and comfort working through ambiguous problems with incomplete information
  • AI tools are already integral to how you work

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting commercial growth initiatives in a services business
  • M&A or post-merger integration exposure
  • Experience rolling out new technology or processes to distributed teams

What you'll get

  • A chance to help build an AI-native leader in a critical industry, with equity and a path for continued growth and leadership as Highline scales
  • An early seat on the team, with meaningful ownership and the opportunity to expand your scope quickly as you demonstrate readiness
  • Direct exposure to the founders, engineers and portfolio-company leaders, working on high-priority problems across growth, operations and company building
